Admissions Procedures for Domestic Students
Each academic term (fall, spring and summer) is divided into two eight-week or seven-week sessions, with graduate courses held one night a week. Some business graduate courses are also offered on Saturdays, with classes meeting on four designated Saturdays throughout the eight-week or seven-week session.
Graduate Business Programs Admission Requirements
Students who wish to apply for admission to a Business Graduate Program must submit the following:
- A completed online application.
- Official academic transcripts, indicating the conferral of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology Admission Requirements
Students who wish to apply for admission to the Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology must submit the following:
- A completed online application.
- Official academic transcripts, indicating the conferral of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A personal statement of objectives and interests.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Optional official GRE score to enhance the application.
Admissions Procedures for International Students
The Graduate Programs at Goldey-Beacom College offer international students the unique opportunity to earn a master’s degree in just two years of study!

Most business degrees offered at Goldey-Beacom College are nationally ACBSP accredited and are taught by dynamic faculty with strong workplace experience and the highest degrees in their teaching areas. Graduate Business Programs Admission Requirements
Students who wish to apply for admission to a Business Graduate Program must submit the following:
- A completed online application.
- An official copy of transcripts/statements of marks/academic records, detailing all university-level work. For international degrees, copies of the diploma/certificate should also be submitted. Documents in a language other than English must be accompanied by certified English translations if students wish to transfer any credits from that degree.
- Official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores (or other proof of English proficiency). A minimum score of 75 on the TOEFL, an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, or a Duolingo score of at least 110 is required.
- Students who have already completed 12 academic credits or more in English and/or have been in the U.S. on an H1B or other working visa do not need to submit English Proficiency documents.
- A Bank Statement and/or Affidavit of Support, which shows sufficient funds to finance the entirety of the academic program.
- The Affaidavit of Support is only required if the student is using someone else’s bank account or paystubs to demonstrate sufficient funds.
