BA 729 - Programming & Database Management

(3 Credits)

This course combines programming and database management. It introduces students to R or Python programming language and its use in business analytics. The course also covers database design and management, database models, the use of SQL in data querying, normalization of database tables, database integrity, and commercial database management systems (DBMSs). This is a hands-on course where students will learn basic programming skills and apply them to case studies and a final project.
