SCM 602 - Operations Research & Data Analytics for Supply Chain


3 Credits

This Masters course will introduce, examine, and explore the key concepts and constructs of operations research as it relates to supply chain management.  More specifically discussion will focus on the utilization and application of various models, technologies, tools, and analytics utilized in support of the Supply Integration Processes;  explore the key elements  associated with Value Based and Performance Based Optimization Theory;  engage application of  Advanced Analytics; Decision Making Tools, Algorithms and Simulations  relative to their  role as strategic allies in the  decisioning process and explore the influences upon Logistics and Distribution as it relates to Global a Domestic Sourcing Strategies for both goods and services.
