Program Description:

The Business Essentials Certificate is designed for students who lack the time to commit to a full-time degree program. Basic fundamentals will be addressed, giving students an introduction to key business concepts. This program is ideal for those without a degree, or who completed a degree years ago, who are now looking to update or enhance their resume for entry-level employment.

Conferral Requirements:

To earn conferral of the Business Essentials Certificate, students must earn a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA and satisfy all course requirements.

Curriculum (12 Credits):

ACC 206 - Accounting Principles I (3 Credits)
MGT 202 - Leadership & Organizational Behavior (3 Credits)
MKT 205 - Marketing Management (3 Credits)
Select one of the following (3 Credits):
COM 285 - Public Speaking (3 Credits)
COM 341 - Group Dynamics (3 Credits)
ENG 235 - Self-representation, Professionalism, and Technology (3 Credits)
HRM 228 - Human Resource Management (3 Credits)
