Business Analytics Certificate

Program Description:

The 9-credit Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed for those individuals who have a desire to increase their understanding of data and its impact in improved decision making, productivity, and profitability. This certificate enhances the student’s ability to compete in a data-driven business environment.  Students explore the analytical tools and techniques that enable them to turn data into meaningful insights and consequently to make better, more informed, and more profitable business decisions.  Programming and database management are examined in a hands-on approach where students learn basic programming skills and then apply them to real-world scenarios.  Students will also learn how to apply data mining techniques to big data and extract useful information for decision making.

Conferral Requirements:

To earn conferral of this certificate, students must earn a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and satisfy all course requirements.
