Program Description:

The MS in Business Analytics degree program equips students with the analytical tools, technical, and business skills needed to lead in today’s competitive, data-driven marketplace. Through a comprehensive curriculum covering statistics, predictive modeling, data visualization, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, students gain the ability to extract valuable insights from data and apply them to real-world business situations. Moreover, students develop the ability to interpret and communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Graduates of the MS in business analytics program are prepared for a range of careers in business and data analytics, consulting, finance, marketing analytics, operations, and business intelligence, where data-driven strategies drive success.

Program Goals:

Upon successful completion of the Master of Science in Business Analytics, student will:

  • master data analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • be able to analyze large and complex datasets and leverage insights for strategic business decisions.
  • be able to apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems
  • be proficient in essential analytics software such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau for data processing, visualization, and predictive modeling.
  • communicate analytical findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • integrate analytics with core business functions-such as marketing, finance, and operations-to drive innovation and efficiency.

Curriculum:

Core Competency Courses (6 Credits)


Students with demonstrated knowledge in Business and/or Finance may take elective courses in place of one or both of the core competency courses.
