Business Administration, Cybersecurity Concentration, M.B.A.

Program Description:

The Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Cybersecurity is designed to prepare professionals in two areas of Cybersecurity: Oversight and Governance (OG) and Protection and Defense (PD), within the scope of the Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE), which helps standardize the cybersecurity workforce. Both of these areas are related to managerial roles, and within this program students will learn to think big-picture about the intersection of business principles and cyber management and strategy to mitigate risk to organizations.

(Note: Some course requirements in this program were built in collaboration with Rize Education who consulted with multiple Fortune 500 companies and successful startups to identify, build and incorporate vital in-demand skills into the curriculum. Program Goals:

Upon successful completion of the Master of Business Administration degree, students will:

• demonstrate an understanding of the concepts, terminology, and approaches in the major areas of management and related decision-making technologies.
• develop knowledge of the terminology and concepts used in marketing and to apply these concepts effectively in understanding the complexities of decision-making in today’s competitive marketing environment.
• demonstrate mastery of advanced knowledge in corporate financial management topics including capital budgeting, cost of capital & capital structures, financial analysis, time value of money & valuation methodologies.
• demonstrate knowledge and skills required to obtain employment in their field.
• develop the skills necessary to continued success in their fields including leadership abilities and a heightened sense of social responsibility and ethics.
