Program Description:
The nine-credit Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management is designed for those individuals transitioning into HR positions and individuals in management positions. Students will gain an understanding of the human resource role in organizations today and the importance of the strategic approach to human resource management. Students will explore the increasing complexity of talent acquisition and the related challenges of employee retention and engagement. Topics will include performance management, employment law, safety and health, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Admission Requirements:
Students must have already completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, and submit additional documents to fulfill the graduate admissions requirements.
Conferral Requirements:
To earn conferral of the Human Resource Management Certificate, students must earn a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and satisfy all course requirements.
