Admissions Procedures for First-Year Freshman Students
Goldey-Beacom College is looking for a certain type of student - one who is motivated for success in a meaningful career. We look for that first in every applicant.
Every application is reviewed individually to determine strengths and potential for academic and career success. Goldey-Beacom College operates on a rolling admission policy, so students may submit their application materials at any time. Rolling admission is nonbinding and allows students to receive their admission and scholarship decisions within two weeks of completing the application process.

High School Completion Validation Policy
Goldey-Beacom College requires every student who is admitted to provide a final, official high school transcript, proof of homeschooling at the secondary level, or GED test scores as defined by state law that designate official graduation date, to the undergraduate admissions office no later than the start of the first semester of enrollment.
If either Goldey-Beacom College or the US Department of Education suspect that a student’s high school diploma is not valid or was not obtained from an entity that provides secondary school education, Goldey-Beacom College will take the following steps to evaluate the validity of the students’s high school completion. To satisfy this requirement, your school may:
- Check with the high school to confirm the validity of the student’s diploma; and
- Confirm with the relevent department or agency in the state in which the secondary school is located that the secondary school is recognized as a provider of secondary school education
Other approaches may also be used if they serve to validate the student’s high school completion. Students who indicate on their FAFSA that they graduated high school must give the name, city, and state of the high school.
