SCM 600 - Principles of Supply Chain Management


3 Credits

This course will explore challenges related to supply, operations, distribution, and integration of supply chain management as they apply to an ever-changing global landscape. Discussion will focus on the benefits of supply chain management as it relates to (a) the optimization benefit and global considerations in a dynamic world; (b) the technological and operational tools organizations could leverage both inside and outside of their organizations; and (c) the sustainability drivers and considerations to be factored into the strategic landscape to promote global engagement. The focus will be on the types of decisions to be made, the implementation processes, and adapting in an ever-evolving marketplace. 

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite:  BUS 598 - Quantitative Foundations and Business Applications  or Equivalent
