GI 217 - Digital I

The goal of this course is to create a connection between the primary graphic design applications of the Adobe Creative Cloud as an integrated design tool set. The primary industry standard applications in which we will focus will be Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Our goal will be to have a thorough understanding of each tool in which it applies to the professional functions of a multimedia/graphic designer. Technical requirements involved in file preparation for press and web output will be integrated into the learning process.

Prerequisite(s): This course is offered through GBC’s consortial partnership with the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCAD).
