The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is an innovative program designed to offer students choice and flexibility. It will enable them to choose courses of study that align with their unique interests, passions, and talents. A BA in Interdisciplinary Studies focuses student attention on the interplay between academic fields and the ways that a broad range of course materials can prepare them to address the complex, multifaceted problems of today and tomorrow. Students who graduate with this major may be able to gain employment in a wide range of fields, including education, marketing, communication, human resources, banking, and many others.

Program Goals:

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree, students will:

  • apply disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge to solve complex problems
  • develop and apply critical thinking skills
  • write and speak well
  • collaborate with others and become skilled team players
  • utilized appropriate technology to facilitate problem solving and analysis
