Program Description
The Post-Master’s Executive Business Certificate is designed to recognize Doctor of Business Administration students who have completed all their coursework but chose not to complete the dissertation process.
Program Goals
- Understand and apply strategic management, the theories of organizations and industries, and the behavior of individuals and teams in global settings.
- Utilize knowledge and skills of how employees influence management, how management impacts ownership, and how ownership acts on the business ecosystem in order to integrate leadership style, environmental factors, company culture, and innovation.
- Apply statistical principles of confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for means and proportions, comparison of populations, multiple regression, ANOVA, chi-squared tests, logistic regression, time series, principal components analysis, and cluster analysis.
- Understand the mechanics of importing and exporting, joint ventures, franchising, managing subsidiaries, international dimensions of management, marketing and accounting, international financial management and the unique challenges facing multi-national corporations.
- Be able to construct programs based on consumer behavior theory to estimate viable marketing segments, select target markets, create positioning statements, research differentiation strategies, and design price, promotion, and placement choices.
- Identify variables that influence entrepreneurship/intrapreneurship within an organization to analyze the most effective ways to create change in an organization and install systems to increase the likelihood of that change being lasting.
Conferral Requirements
To earn conferral of the Post-Graduate Executive Business Certificate, students must earn a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and satisfy all course requirements.
